Mike Vanderslice, Managing Principal

Mike is the Founder and Managing Principal of Vanderslice Capital. He has specialized in the unique management and financing challenges of North West middle market companies for over thirty years. His background includes business ownership and operation for over twenty years, executive leadership responsibility for companies in the professional service, public accounting and automotive supply industries, and board and board advisory positions to numerous private company and non-profit organizations.

Mike is a graduate of Pennsylvania State University (MPA) and Muhlenberg College (BA), and became a Certified Management Consultant (CMC) in 1994.

Bruce Michels, Principal

Bruce is an experienced business executive, management consultant, and trainer. His business experience includes over twenty years of executive leadership in private northwest companies as President, Chief Operating Officer, and International Operations Manager. Bruce's advisory experience encompasses more than one hundred consulting engagements primarily in strategic planning, financial management, troubled business turnarounds, and owner exit planning including seller representation in business sales. He has extensive experience in training business owners and managers on the basics of financial management.

Bruce is a graduate of the University of Minnesota (BS), and the University of Washington (MBA). Bruce became a Certified Management Consultant (CMC) in 1989.
